Transfer

MAIZE, MARY D34730 ABC SAMPLE PLAN

Dollar Transfer

  • Transfer your current balance by dollar amount.
  • Dollar amounts will be translated to whole percentages.
  • The dollar amount you transfer to or from must be at least 1% of that investment option for the transfer to process.

Percent Transfer

  • Transfer your current balance by whole percents.

Automatic Rebalancing

  • Over time, some assets can outperform others. This may result in your portfolio becoming too concentrated in a particular asset class.
  • Rebalance your existing assets to your current investment option elections to maintain investment diversity.

Dollar Cost Averaging

  • This transfer option allows you to systematically transfer monies from your money market or fixed interest accounts into other investment options. This option may help to alleviate the timing risks involved with making a lump-sum transfer into the equity markets on a single day.
  • There is a balance requirement of $10,000 or more in the Fixed Interest Account, Stable Value Account and/or Money Market investment options.

Interest Sweep

  • Schedule systematic transfers of earned interest from your Fixed Interest Account or Stable Value Account to other investment options in your account.
  • Using this option allows you to maintain a conservative foundation while diversifying into equity or bond-based investments over time.
  • There is a balance requirement of $10,000 or more in the Fixed Interest Account, Stable Value Account and/or Money Market investment options.

Rules

  • Only one transfer may be made per day.
  • Transfers will be based on today's market value for your account balance, if received by 4 p.m. Eastern Time. If your request is received after 4 p.m., your request will be processed and based on the market value of your account on the next business day.
  • The investment return and principal value of the investment accounts will fluctuate, so that when redeemed, units may be worth more or less than the original cost.
  • Certain investments (PDF) will assess redemption fees if a purchase into and sale out of a fund is shorter than the fund company's holding period.
  • For additional information, see transfer restrictions.
